QA Engineer (4+ years experience)

About Us:

We are looking for a QA engineer with 4+ years of full stack test experience. Must be comfortable wearing many hats, changing direction quickly, and learning new technologies as necessary. We are a growing company of self-starters who thrive in a face-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product management to insure quality.

• Key influencer in QA best practices.

• Help lead the evaluation of new test tools and technologies.

• Create test plans, define testing strategies, and get a kick out of uncovering those hard-to-find bugs.

Requirements:

• A history of QA lead experience in an Agile environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient at testing HTML/JavaScript based user interfaces.

• Proficient at server side unit testing of Java RESTful API services..

• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium and JUnit.

• Expert at managing issue tracking systems like Jira or Bugzilla.

• A bachelor's degree in a computer science (or equivalent industry experience).

• Fearless curiosity and a willingness to dive into any level of the stack.

A plus to have:

• Statistics or applied mathematics experience.

• Data analytics experience.

• A thorough understanding of Linux server environments and repeatable release processes.

• Experience working in a dynamic startup environment.

• Experience working with SQL storage layers like MySQL and Oracle

• VMware or other virtual machine environments.
